The Biology Club is open to all students at Bellarmine University who have an interest in biology.
They carry out professional activities (like sponsor lectures on medical school, graduate school), participate in charitable events (like fundraisers or Beargrass Creek Clean-ups), as well as just have fun. The Club provides a great way for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors to meet and for interaction with various faculty in the program. As the Club is a registered student organization at Bellarmine they also can participate in the Student Government Organization.
In the past, the Biology Club has sponsored field trips to the Museum of Natural History in Chicago and the Newport Aquarium in northern Kentucky. They have visited labs at the University of Louisville Health Science Center, organized bowling nights, movie nights and raised hundreds of dollars for food shelves at Christmas time.
The faculty advisor for the Biology Club is Dr. Steven Wilt, so contact him if you have any questions (his email address is "swilt" at "bellarmine.edu").
